About Me


I am a qualified ISO/IEC 20000 Consultant with 2 years experience in helping IT departments achieve certification.
My 12 years experience in the IT industry, covering everything from full-lifecycle software development roles to service support and service delivery roles have left me with a solid technical grounding and hands-on experience of what it's like to support IT systems. Just less than three years of process improvement consulting roles have left me with a good grasp of the challenges that face organizations wanting to implement process change and certification.
I have worked with the CobiT and CMMI methodologies which do help sometimes, but I believe that ITIL, in conjunction with ISO/IEC 20000 and MOF offer IT Service Providers with a scalable, value-add way of achieving service quality improvements.
Through the years I’ve experienced the pain of endless outages, poor system performance and frustrated customers. Best practice methodologies like ITIL provided structure and hard-won wisdom that elevated my support and development efforts to an efficient and maintainable level with tangible improvements. I am keen to see the same happen in your organisation.
