A virtual assistant, or VA, is an independent contractor that provides administrative and secretarial services on an as-needed basis. They work in their own office with the ability to accomplish any task that could be done in your own office. They can communicate with their clients through the use of the Internet, e-mail, phone, fax, or regular mail. Services include, but are not limited to word processing, spreadsheets, transcription, data entry, data base management, travel arrangements, and even office management.
A good VA can actually make or break a small business. A small business may not be able to afford a full time Administrative Assistant, but they can hire a VA for specific tasks that they don't have to time to do in-house.

I have two children, a boy and a girl, ages 14 and 11. I have been married twenty years and we live southwest of Houston, Texas. I enjoy being outside, camping, doing yard work, reading, and spending time with my family.
I have over twenty years of office experience that includes customer service and data entry through administrative assistance and office management. The last eight years have been with a construction company where I worked mainly as an administrative assistant and completed the monthly draw requests. My experiences in administrative assistance and office management will help you to complete any task or project that you may need assistance with. My customer service experience will help to make sure that you are satisfied with the final result because, of course, that is the ultimate goal.
