Long Description:

PURCHASING PROCESS AND PROCEDURES:
I am knowledgeable and experienced in purchasing and contracting processes and have the ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize that information for problem resolution, development of recommendations and solutions, for completion of complex contracting/purchasing actions. I am well versed in contract and purchase administration support. I am able to prepare presolicitation/preaward and post-award documentation. I have the ability to handle multiple priorities for the same project run on a concurrent basis thereby accelerating the procurement acquisition process. I have an excellent working knowledge of the Federal Government Acquisition regulations. I am able to develop statistical information using Microsoft Excel.

FUNDING: I have the skill and ability to plan, manage, and evaluate a contract program budget and monitor status of funds. I have worked as a bookkeeper in an accounts receivable department debiting and crediting accounts, weekly balancing of accounts and preparing accounts for audit on a quarterly and annual basis, and the issuance of checks. As a contract specialist I have performed cost analyst work in evaluating complex cost and price proposals. I have been trained in development of life cycle costing principles for project management while serving as a procurement analyst. I have worked for 30 years with federally mandated cost and price regulations to ensure the contract proposal is adequately presented and in accordance with the federal cost and price regulations.

WRITING ABILITY:
I communicate effectively orally and in writing. I produce business correspondence related to contracting and purchasing actions. I am able to develop negotiation positions, based on technical evaluation of proposals and analytical review of cost proposals.

INTERPERSONAL SKILL:
I am extremely professional in my relationships with other employees who work with me. I have had extensive training in interpersonal communications, supervisory courses, and management training. In all these courses I have learned to develop approaches to various situations within the work environment to ensure the minimal amount of misunderstanding. I am willing to work with individuals for a satisfactory solution to any given problem. I am an assertive individual who believes in a high degree of accountability at all levels in an organization.
