Long Description:

Jack-of-all-trades; wear many hats. Virtual responsibilities have included running all operations to include managing virtual office administration and customer service functions, and assisting with public relations, market and internet research, human resources/recruiting/payroll and accounting. Main point of contact for all employees, independent contractors and vendors. Duties have included, but are not limited to:

• Handle all HR generalist duties, recruiting, screening, work with online assessment testing company. Handle all employee relations, payroll and bookkeeping in Quickbooks. Also working with subsidiary which focuses solely on recruitment and job placement, sourcing, screening, resume review, interviewing and resume reformatting and rewriting.
• Research, interview, negotiate, and select new vendors. Manage all vendor relationships; interact daily with all vendors to assure all website, marketing, conference, association management, and background check duties are being fulfilled. Sign contracts. Review, edit and approve vendor daily activities.
• Manage virtual switchboard to include answering all incoming calls for six companies, reviewing and routing all voice mails and faxes and setting up all conference calls.
• Manage all member relations to include new member registrations, member communication, member solicitation drives.
• Manage all communications to include brochure mailings, explanation of programs, soliciting conference attendance.
• Manage, edit and write copy on website. Provide all text updates to web update provider. Work with provider to create new functionality, test new functionality, manage entire website to include all vendor and member programs. Manage separate admin website which controls the majority of functions of website.
• Manage service provider program to include communicating with all potential and current service providers to explain program, solicit their participation, and manage their expectations. Work with members to participate in this program as well.
• Manage career center program to include communicating with all potential and current employers to explain program, solicit their participation, and manage their expectations. Work with members to participate in this program as well.
• Manage background check program. Work with vendor to ensure program is running smoothly. Funnel all completed background check applications to vendor and ensure either the service provider or member receives the appropriate feedback.
• Manage strategic partner program. Assist in negotiations with new partners, run background checks, post company information on website.
• Edit monthly eZine newsletter. Review and edit all articles and ensure publication is ready for distribution. Follow readership statistics to determine interest and who is reading what articles.
• Oversee all conference activities to include working with vendor and approving all speakers, editing agenda and brochure, collateral, giveaways, sponsorship negotiations, photographer, taping of sessions.
• Manage all brochure printing and collateral creation.
• Work with Accountant to review and approve invoices. Enter invoices into Quickbooks.
• Manage staff and consultants
• Work with attorney on legal matters relating to website, vendors or new programs.

Working from home for the past six years, I have a complete home office setup to include a top-of-the-line business computer, high speed internet service, laser and color printers, fax machine, and a separate business phone line. My administrative skills are top notch, including a typing speed of 86 WPM. I am fluent in a number of computer programs, specializing in Microsoft applications and can easily pick up new programs. I am very well versed in Microsoft Office programs as well as contact management software. Fluent in using the internet, email, IM.
