Distribution of members details

VA4U enforce a strong policy about privacy, No details of any member will be released without their prior permission.  No such permission has ever been asked of any of its members to date.

Personal Details displayed on the web site

Personal details listed on a members web page are purely at the members own discretion.  Each member is given the opportunity to review their free web page as part of the registration process.  Changes to the content of a members web page may be made at any time by completing the appropriate section in the Members Registration Pages. 

Terms & Conditions

VA4U purely provides advertising and a contact point for Virtual Assistants and their customers. VA4U do not accept any responsibility for the services rendered by its members.  VA4U do not accept any responsibility for the conduct of any client in their dealings with its members services.

The allocation of email or directory names is at the discretion of the webmaster and this decision is final.  VA4U does not enter into disputes regarding names chosen for email or directory names unless a copy of any legal requirement is posted to VA4U.  We will not judge who has a legal right to a name and will give priority to an existing member over a new member.  Preference is normally given to the member who registered first with VA4U.

VA4U reserves the right to withdraw membership at any time without notice or reason.

VA4U reserves the right to amend the content of any web page that is published on the site.

Member details are published on the website in accordance to the privacy statement.

VA4U reserves the right to refuse membership without reason.

Termination of Membership

We will only action a request to terminate a membership under the following circumstances:-

A request is made from the registered forwarding mail account requesting termination of membership and providing either:-

• Password
• Information provided at registration which is not visible on the members web page

If the request is made from a mail account other than the registered one the request will not be actioned, but a mail will be sent to the registered mail address for confirmation and once receipt for the mail has been received membership termination will proceed.

Upon Termination of the Membership the existing mail redirection will be stopped, the personal webpage and directory will be removed.  All entries in the Regional and Skills registers will also be removed.

Please note that your password grants access to the content you publish to the site. Please exercise all caution to ensure that only you log in with this username and password

 

SPAM and Mail Problems

We endeavour to prevent any spam mail wherever possible.  If you are experiencing any problems then please let us know.  If necessary we may set up mail accounts and filter messages that are received on the old address.  We do not accept any responsibility for mail that is sent to your email account as we do not release or sell mailing lists of our members details.

Anyone is free to create links to our Home page (http://www.va4u.com/assistant) or any other page on our site, including members web pages.  We have prepared two types of link for you to choose from, picture and text, of course you are welcome to use both!

Simply select the VA4U link HTML code from the box below with your mouse. Copy it, and paste it into your HTML file. Place the HTML from the box below and place it where you want the Link to appear on your page.

We recommend using a text editor to paste the Banner HTML into your HTML file such as notepad. We do not recommend using a word processor such as Microsoft Word, nor a web page design program such as Microsoft FrontPage. This will often result in errors in your page.  If you have any problems feel free to contact us.
