I am highly qualified and consider myself proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access running on Windows XP; familiar with PowerPoint; type 65 wpm.
I believe I can be an asset to your company as I have many skills in these types of positions:
*Data entry assistant
--I have accurate typing skills with a minimum of 65 words per minute
*Administrative assistant - general office work, document prep
*Customer service
--I have excellent telephone skills and the ability to communicate courteously, clearly and concisely. As a research coordinator, I interviewed veterans and had to explain in a clear and concise way how important it was that they participate in our survey so we could gather accurate data. I would convey to the subjects the importance of the survey and how their answers would help improve the blind rehabilitation centers. Sometimes this proved challenging when subjects would deviate from the question with a story or sensitivity and I had to keep them on track.
*Billing and transcription
--I can decipher and transcribe notes when performing data entry from handwritten notes in addition to office duties
