Details

Basic HTML Guide
If you are going to change your
description it is a good idea to have a look at our Basic HTML
Guide. When you complete your description you are allowed
to use HTML. HTML (HyperText Markup Language) allows you
to format you text with various predefined styles and formats.
With a small amount of HTML knowledge you will be able to
transform your web page into an attractive display of your
services.

Changes to your
Web Page
Your free web page is your
chance to sell yourself to the world at large and you should
make as much of your opportunity as possible. We allow
changes to be made to your short and long descriptions which go
together to make up your web page and register listing.
Also the services that you offer also are listed on your web
page, so you may want to modify your skills to reflect your
continuing progress.
We allow the input of HTML into
the description fields which will give you the opportunity
format your descriptions exactly as you wish. If you don't
have the knowledge to input HTML then you are welcome to send a
web page you already have or just ask for any formatting that
you require to be done to your web page and we will do it for
you.
Remember that none of your
personal details, address and telephone numbers, are displayed
on your web page unless you explicitly ask for them to be
displayed.

Add extra Pages to
your free web directory and enhance your web presence
We offer the facility to add web
pages to your free web directory to create a web site of your
own. This will improve your advertising on the web
and the ability to attract new work
We allow up to 3 extra pages to
be added to your web directory for free. Additional Pages
are added at a charge of $2.50 (USD) per year.

Enhanced Promotion
At VA4U we believe that as much
exposure on the internet is of great value to any one offering
services. We will give enhanced promotion to Virtual
Assistant Members who provide ideas and improve the quality of
the site.
We will add extra links to a
Members Web Page for suitable suggestions. Examples of the

Termination of Membership
Obviously we would be unhappy if you want to terminate your
membership. We would like to draw your attention to the
benefits of membership; a free web page, a free web directory,
inclusion in the Regional Registers, Service Registers, and
Membership Registers, a free redirectable mail address and no
charges on any work generated.
If you would are having problems with SPAM please read our
solution below.
If you would still like to terminate your Membership, then
please mail and state your membership number and password
and your details will be removed from the web site.

their own web site or even server. Many Virtual Assistants
want and should have their own web site to advertise their
wares. We have used the

recommend them for simplicity service, features and in

SPAM
At VA4U we are aware that SPAM,
or unwanted junk email, is sent to mail addresses of our
Members. We have not release mail addresses to anyone and
do not condone any form of bulk email marketing.
Some SPAM is made to look like
it originated at VA4U, but these have forged mail headers and do
not originate from VA4U.
SPAM is typically bulk email
aimed at mail addresses which have been collected by people and
sold to marketing companies. We have endeavoured to make
it difficult for email addresses to be siphoned off the Web site
by automatic collecting programs but cannot stop mail addresses
being added to these lists by humans or if you use your mail
address when registering with other organisations.
We recommend that you never
respond to a junk mail by asking them to remove you from there
list. This is because this only confirms to the marketing
company that they have your attention and that someone is
reading the SPAM, which encourages them to send you more.
We also recommend that you try
not to open your mails or use autopreview as this can link back
to their websites and therefore enables them to that the mail is
being read.
Our Solution
If SPAM is becoming an
increasing problem for we are happy to change you mail address
which will then deactivate your current mail address and stop
the SPAM. This will mean you will have a new mail address
and therefore will need to inform people that use your old mail
address that it has changed. To request a change to mail
address because of SPAM please mail
and provide your
current VA4U mail address your chosen new VA4U mail address and
password.
