Database and Automation Solutions

I favor a modular approach with both long-term and short-term views kept in mind. Long-range planning creates a good path to follow to minimize wasted effort. To let you realize a return on your investment as soon as possible, I look for ways to break projects down into smaller chunks which can be implemented prior to the completion of the entire project.

Not only can you have a new or improved Access or SQL database, but also better efficiency within and between other Microsoft Office applications. For example, the click of a button in your database form could automatically generate a Word document with database information already inserted. Or programming code attached to a Word toolbar could automatically retrieve database information for the customer whose name you just highlighted and then copy it into your memo without you having to open the database yourself.

Training

As a certified Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor, I will gladly develop customized classes for your in-house training needs. Besides training in specific Microsoft Office products, I give workshops on the principles of good relational database design, macro development and beginning programming using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and other topics for advanced end users and beginning programmers.
