Long Description:

I started a home based word processing and office support business in 1981, long before the word virtual assistant was coined. Soon my clients began to ask me where to find other types of computer and office support services, and being the inveterate net worker and matchmaker that I am, I developed a network of peers that I could send them to, called Nina Feldman Connections (NFC). NFC has built a loyal business clientele by helping busy professionals find the right outsourcing help they need from our trusted network of over 150 skilled virtual experts.

We started in the San Francisco Bay Area but now connect clients with virtual assistants across the country for every imaginable skill including--

Office service owners and virtual assistants (VAs) frequently call me when they or their subs get in a pinch and can t meet a deadline. I can almost always find someone reliable to finish a job on time. Do your or a client need someone who uses WordPerfect on a Mac? A transcriptionist who can transcribe a digital videotape and send it as a .wav file overnight? A tax preparer willing to deal with envelopes full of tiny receipts? A seasoned user to talk you through how to use a piece of software youre not totally familiar with? A patient MS Access or Filemaker expert to clean up a tangled database for you? Someone to fill in while youre on vacation?

When you contact me about what you need, I ll have one or more appropriate candidates call you so you can decide whether youd like to work with them. While youre connecting--and later on if necessary--Ill help expedite the transaction in whatever way I can to help ensure your job is done to your satisfaction. (Ive even been known to brainstorm on tactics for discussing with clients issues like pricing and estimating reworking a bid. Sometimes it s hard to figure out what to charge in order to hire a sub and still get paid for the job!)

Once youve hooked up with the other subcontractor or consultant, youll negotiate directly with them regarding price, timeframe etc., and deal with work specs, payment etc. between yourselves.
