This part time position,working from home, entails being the sole administrator for the magazine, designing and building an access database, maintaining and updating records, planning meetings, proof-reading articles, invoicing advertising sales, arranging photo-shoots, maintaining and administrating the website and also writing a regular column for the magazine.
Nov 2005 to Nov 2006
Freelance Pre-school Music Teacher Working for Monkey Music, running lessons for babies and pre-schoolers, teaching music, rhythm and singing. It entailed learning the Early Years Curriculum and extensive lesson planning. This job ended after the birth of my second son.

This part time position, working from home, entailed initiating the administration of the conference including designing and maintaining an Access data base of all papers submitted, approved and programmed, delegate and speaker information, including dedicated queries, forms and tables; creating and maintaining the Conference web-site; dealing with all conference enquiries; communicating and disseminating information to APC; making necessary arrangements for meetings, including catering, booking of hotels, etc; assisting with the construction of the conference programme for the conference and maintaining an efficient and effective electronic filing system

Project Administrator, Teaching and Learning Research Programme, School of Lifelong Education & International Development, Institute of Education, University of London I was responsible for the administration of a new research project at LEID, The Impact of Policy on Learning and Inclusion in the New Learning and Skills Sector- setting up the office, creating a filing system, designing and publishing the website using dedicated software, transcribing interviews, organising the first Project Seminar to report on findings, designing presentations using PowerPoint to publicise and disseminate research. This job ended after the birth of my son.

I was offered this job on a permanent basis.

Whilst in this role I facilitated a transition in management of the School, continuing administrative support, diary management, reorganising and prioritising the filing system, day to day administration and finance for the School, working on a dedicated database booking rooms and organising meetings for Senate House. I was offered this job on a permanent basis.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / PERFORMER GIN Theatre Company.
Upon leaving University I set up GIN Theatre with a colleague and the company went on to produce work until 1997 - hence the temping. We were a successful fringe theatre company with Joanna Lumley as a patron. Shows toured London and to Dublin. My duties as well as overall responsibility was to find funding, be the marketing director, programmer, tour booker, PR person, set painter and company manager. I also managed to perform culminating in a successful run of my one woman show "I Don't Sweat Much For A Fat Lass" which gained me an agent and a sporadic career as a jobbing professional actress.
