I am a hardworker and very committed person. I am very innovative and often comes out with difference ideas on doing a particular jobs. I have worked with companies like MARICO, RANBAXY & PRESENTLY WITH PIDILITE (FEVICOL. Please see my resume describing my experience in different areas, based on which one can decide about giving me an assignment.

Work Experience

A) Presently, working with Pidilite Industries Limited as an Senior Executive – Commercial & Legal from June 2005 onwards.

PIL is a 1200 crore company & has been a pioneer and market leader in the field of consumer and speciality chemicals in india, since inception in 1959. Its brand "Fevicol, Steelgrip, Acron, Dr. Fixit, Fevitite and M-seal" are the most trusted brands. The company’s proactive market driven approach has given it a strong base among both consumer & industrial segments. PIL today takes pride in its diverse product range, a number of established brands and a large distribution network of dealers, retails outlets, offices & sales representatives spread throughout the country.



Job Profile :

Legal
1) Handling IPR matters – Trade Marks, Copy Rights, Designs and Patents
2) Co-ordination with IPR consultants with respect to Registration of Trade Marks, Copy Rights and Patents
3) Ensuring Notice of Opposition, Counter Statements and Proof of Evidence is being filed with respect to a Trade Mark in opposition.
4) Conducting raids and ensuring proper compliance
5) Coordination with divisions with respect to Trade Marks matters
6) Other legal jobs such as coordination in property matter, BMC matters and other routine followup jobs for statutory compliances.

Commercial
Scheme Management :
1) Tracking of scheme running balance before authorizing any scheme
2) Validating of scheme annexure & recommendation in terms of completion of all formalities before approval.
3) Control of scheme expenses against budget
4) Checking / Validation of requisition related to fund transfer / actual payment disbursement against localized gift scheme & other activity’s.
5) Validation of indent received from Branch / Field towards purchase of gifts before issuing purchase order.
6) Verification of calendar / diary & other promotion related scheme against budget.
7) Record keeping for all schemes / compliance for statutory purpose.
8) IT related follow up & compliance for past schemes.
9) Documentation & tracking for annual schemes.

Claims Management :
1) Verification of claim requisition (Exception) received from Branch for approval.
2) HO claim verification & processing
3) Follow up for pending settlement of claim / issue with branches & resolving them.

Other Coordination :
1) Follow up for interest on deposit / refund of deposit / pending settlement with Accounts.
2) Quaterly projection for discount / schemes etc.
3) Reason analysis for variation in discounts / schemes against budgets under various heads.
4) Credit limit, exceptions, approval & control.
5) Other operational issues, support & MIS need based.




From October 2003 to December 2004, I had started my own venture of Outsourcing. Processing of Leakage / Damage & Expiry claims for FMCG / PHARMA Companies. Also, taking up backhand jobs for FMCG / PHARMA companies :

B)Worked with M/s. Marico (I) Ltd as a Junior Manager for 3 years

Period: September 1999 to September 2002
MIL is a Rs. 700 crore FMCG company with a well established presence in Foods, Hair care and Fabric care business and has a wide range of reputed brands like PARACHUTE, SAFFOLA, SWEEKAR, REVIVE, HAIR & CARE, & SIL. The company also handles two strategic distribution alliances with Indo Nissin Foods Limited ( INFL ) and Procter and Gamble for distribution of select range of their products.

Job Profile:
1) Depot handling – in terms of visiting depots, solving depot operator’s queries, Checking of stocks and reporting of any difference between actual and book stocks, solving queries of sales field force.
2) Doing depot audits as per defined parameters on Quality, Safety, Commercial & Supply Chain.
3) Appointment & Seperations of C&FA’s & other operations
4) Selection, Training & Stabilisation of 3 new CFA’s in the region
5) Claims processing – Different Schemes are run in market by our distributor for promotion and selling of our products and money spent are paid by way of Credit Notes and Debit Notes.
6) Stock Management – Reporting of Non-saleable & slow moving products, Identifying dead stocks in the systems, authorization for stock transfer between depots.
7) Handling Distributor – Solving Distributors Queries, their Settlement, Creating system codes for newly appointed distributors.
8) Distributors Audit – Checking records of Distributors, Stocks, Checking Different Schemes run in Market, solving their queries, Noc Clearance.
9) Making provisions for sanctions given to run in Market and closing of the same.
10) Budgeting - Preparing budgets for regional office in terms of fixed overheads, budget for depot and compliance with budget, reporting of variances and many other related things.
11) Reporting of Savings from the Sanctions run in Market.
12) C & FA freight analysis, Credit Control Statement, analysis of fixed overheads budget against actuals.
13) MIS work relating to Super Distributors Operations.
14) Reporting of Outstanding and follow up with Asm if any due.
15) Midas (Marico Industries Distributor Application Software) – reporting accuracy of the system & feedback of distributors.
16) Appointment & Separation of C & F’s & other operations.

C) Worked with M/s. Champion Jointings Limited as a Commercial Officer for 2 and a half years.

Period: February 1997 to August 1999

Job Profile:

1) Secretarial Work such as handling Board Meetings, Drafting of Minutes, Work relating to Registrar of Companies, Share Transfers etc.
2) Legal Matters -- Property Matters, Trade Marks Matters—right from the stage of making the compliant till raiding the place, recovery of debt from debtors.
3) Accounting Matters – handled accounting of one group company
4) Excise Matters – Maintain records such as RG23 part A and part B, PLA register, excise clearances, replies to show cause notices and attending hearings and many other related things.

D) Worked with M/s. Enarai Finance Limited as a Secretarial Officer for 15 Months

Period: November 1995 to January 1997

Secretarial Work relating to Registrar of Companies, Drafting of Minutes, Fixed Deposit Back Office Operations work; transferring of dividend to General Revenue Account of Central Government, handling Board Meetings, share transfers etc.

E) Worked with M/s. Brimco Plastic Machinery Pvt. Ltd. As an Export cum Cost Assistant for 16 months.
