* 20 years experience in various fields of the tourism industry in Namibia
* excellent knowledge of Namibia as a tourist destination, history, sites of interest
* excellent knowledge of available car rental companies, accommodation establishments, tour companies (day tours and also packaged tours - accommodated and camping)
* good knowledge of activity operators and their products in Namibia
* a solid understanding of what the overseas client expects when booking holidays in Namibia (I have run my own travel agency in Germany for 12 years with flight reservations (start amadeus + galileo), rental car & accommodation reservations, 'packaging' of tailor-made guided tours...)
* a good grasp of which services can be provided and which are 'just asking too much' (I have managed a small Hotel & Spa in Namibia for 3 years)
* I have experience in F&B
* good manners, patience and friendly character
* very good in German (mother tongue) and English, Afrikaans and (a little) French
* excellent command of MS Outlook, Word & Excel,
* very good knowledge of Quickbooks & Pastel
* good networking in different fields of the Namibian tourism industry – lodge stand-ins, tourguides, ….ask me, maybe I (quite literally so!) know the solution to your problem!
