I develop project / program plans for USA clients from a small remote office based in South Africa.

Long Description:

I have been working on multi-discipline projects for more than 13 years within the discipline sectors of construction, engineering, manufacturing, defence, systems integration and IT.

I have compiled master project / programme plans covering the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, building, civils, IT, and telecommunications.
I have planned and controlled projects for companies such as Murray & Roberts, MEI Construction, Kentz, Fluor Daniel.
I have led project planning and controls for companies such as Lockheed Martin (within the UK), Glaxo Wellcome (within the UK), GSK (within the UK).
I am currently managing manufacturing Engineering systems projects for General Motors in support of the launch of their “HUMMER” vehicle global export programme.

I am an experienced user and trainer of Project Management (PM) tools such as Primavera, EPM, MS Projects and PS7/8. Project management methodologies have included PRINCE2 and PMBOK. Project system methodologies have included SSADM and SDP-21 (CCMI level 2).
I have set up Programme Management Offices (PMO) over multi disciplines within many different industry sectors.

I am a Project Management Practitioner in the methodology PRINCE2 (foundation level), a certified Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) consultant with ACM being the chosen methodology. I have been independently consulting within the project planning and management arena for 10 years.

I was a speaker at the 5th annual South African Project Management Conference in Sandton in July 2002 – my topic being ‘’Managing projects in Cyberspace’’.

I have a web based document management system where I upload all my client's project plans for their review, prior from 1st draft to baseline sign-off.
Due to time zone differences between South Africa and the USA, I am available for all USA clients from 1pm to 6pm USA time.
